The Amazon Prime Big Deals Day Event (which most of us simply call "Prime Day 2" or "October Prime Day") runs from now until Tuesday, October 9 at midnight PDT. This is Amazon's biggest sale of the year outside of Black Friday. In fact, this second Prime Day event is close enough to Black Friday that we expect these deals to be on par with the deals we'll see later during the holiday season.
This is a great time of year to score the best deals on TVs, gaming PCs and laptops, Apple AirPods and iPads, headphones, toys, and more. It's also a perfect opportunity to get an early start on your early holiday gift shopping. We've picked out the best deals that will interest gamers and tech enthusiasts alike, although that doesn't mean the products here only cover those categories. If you see the random toothbrush, furniture, or toilet paper deal, don't be surprised.
Keep in mind that many of these deals are reserved exclusively for Amazon Prime members. If you're not a current member, you may be eligible for a 30-day free trial. Pick up the best TV for PlayStation 5 at the lowest price of the year. Unsurprisingly, most of the deals are on Fire TVs. These TVs offer incredible value; they offer solid image quality, generous sizing, and a robust smart interface at a rock-bottom price. Regarding Fire TVs in particular, we've seen that the best prices are found on Amazon Prime Day, not on Black Friday, so you don't have to wait around.

Are October Prime Day Deals as good as Black Friday?
Although Black Friday is still the overall best time to buy just about anything every year, October Prime Day is just as good as Black Friday for many different items. You can also reference our recommendations for what to buy on Prime Day for more details. Amazon's own devices that are currently on sale likely won't go much lower in price. The same goes for most of the deals we've featured on this list, which are at some of their lowest prices of the year so far. If you are unsure whether or not you're getting a good deal on anything, you can reference specific products on the CamelCamelCamel website to see historical Amazon pricing.
Do other retailers have October Prime Day sales?
Although Prime Big Deal Days is a sale exclusive to Amazon Prime members, almost all of the other major retailers are also having a sale. Target Circle Week launched earlier this week now and both Walmart and Best Buy are offering counter sales at the same time as Amazon's Prime Day deals. Amazon will match prices on a lot of products featured at other retailers, but many deals will be exclusive to each store that will be worth checking out.
When do October Prime Day sales end?
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale officially ends on Wednesday, October 9 at 12 a.m. PT. That being said, the Amazon competitors that are offering sales will continue to have discounts into the weekend. Target Circle Week continues until Saturday, October 12 and Walmart's Sale extends through Sunday, October 13.
