Couple Has Black Ops 6 Themed Wedding at Call of Duty Next Event

Two Twitch streamers got married at a Black Ops 6 themed wedding outside the Call of Duty Next event in Washington, D.C.

As reported by PC Gamer, streamers TheCallofDutyDJ and chloejagger tied the knot on August 28, 2024 in celebration of their love of each other and Call of Duty. Publisher Activision held the Next event to show off its upcoming shooter Black Ops 6 and the happy couple held their wedding alongside it.

TheCallofDutyDJ, real name Brad, wore a black suit with white shirt and orange tie (in the colors of Black Ops 6) and chloejagger, real name actually Chloe, carried a bouquet of orange flowers. Their four-tier wedding cake was adorned with Call of Duty branding and a cake topper of the pair playing video games together.

"Chloe, I have adored you since the first lobby we met. It was truly love at first snipe," Brad said in vows broadcast at the event. "Our love is stronger than any meta, and I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you. I vow to always cherish, protect you, and let you defuse the bomb."

Chloe had her own Call of Duty laced vows. "You instantly made me laugh harder than I ever have. I vow to stay by your side, even when you steal my kill."

The couple's honeymoon will no doubt be finished in time for the Black Ops 6 launch on October 25, 2024. Fans can trial the multiplayer mode much sooner, however, as an early access period begins in late August.

Early access to the beta is available to Game Pass subscribers and those who pre-order Black Ops 6 from August 30 to September 4, while an open beta takes place September 6 to September 9.

Activision has so far given good looks at all modes, including a dramatic new campaign, its fast paced multiplayer, and the revamped Zombies mode. Those on PC can prepare themselves thanks to system requirements being released early too.
