Ex-Kansas police chief charged in newspaper raid
A former Kansas police chief tied to a 2023 raid on a local newspaper has been charged with felony obstruction of justice. According to a complaint filed Monday, Gideon Cody is accused of persuading a witness to withhold information from authorities during and after the raid.
