LEGO's Marvel X-Men: The X-Mansion Is Hitting Shelves in Early November

The Avengers Tower now has company. LEGO's latest Marvel X-Men build is a recreation of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters – better known as the X-Mansion. The '90s animated television series, along with its recent X-Men '97 revival on Disney+, were the clear visual inspirations for this set, which carries an 18+ age recommendation. The set cost $329.99, and it will be available exclusively at the LEGO store on November 1 for LEGO Insiders, and on November 4 for everyone else.

If you're not a LEGO Insider, you can sign up for free. LEGO insiders who purchase the set anytime from November 1–7 will receive a LEGO Marvel Cerebro set as a free gift, which includes the contraption itself and a Charles Xavier minifigure.

The LEGO X-Mansion is a modular building with two floors and six removable sections, not including the roof. It is a closed building on all sides, unlike many LEGO buildings that are open in the back to better reveal their interiors. Despite this, the interiors are fully furnished and include iconic locations such as the Danger Room, Cerebro, and Jean Grey's lab. The mansion also comes with a massive Sentinel robot, in case you want to stage an attack on the school.

LEGO Marvel X-Men: The X-Mansion (Set #76294) Characters Included

The LEGO X-Mansion includes 10 minifigures:

  • Jean Grey
  • Wolverine
  • Cyclops
  • Storm
  • Rogue
  • Gambit
  • Iceman
  • Bishop
  • Professor X
  • Magneto

Of these, the clear standout is Gambit, who is represented in minifigure form for the first time. He comes with his signature staff and playing cards surrounded by kinetic energy, which you can attach to his hand to make it seem like he's throwing them.
