Lenovo Drops Over $1,000 Off the Legion Pro 7 RTX 4080 Gaming Laptop
The two stackable coupons are only available through the weekend
For this weekend only, Lenovo is offering a Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gen 8 16" RTX 4080 Gaming Laptop for only $1939.99 after two stackable coupon codes "LEGIONPICK4P" and "LENOVOWKND". This laptop is powerful enough to run any game at high frame rates, even on the display's bumped up QHD+ resolution. Lenovo Legion Pro gaming laptops are highly rated for their rugged build quality, ample amounts of airflow and cooling, extreme performance, and an excellent warranty.
Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gen 8 16" RTX 4080 Gaming Laptop
The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 is one of the most powerful gaming laptops you can get. It features a 16" 2560x1600 QHD+ 240Hz IPS display, AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU, GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 2TB SSD. The AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX CPU features a 5.4GHz max boost clock with 16 cores, 32 threads, and a sizeable 80MB cache. This is currently the fastest mobile AMD chip available and goes toe to toe with Intel's top-of-the-line i9 Raptor Lake CPU. It's performance is within 5%-10% of the desktop 7950X.
The RTX 4080 mobile GPU performs about 20%-35% faster than the RTX 3080 Ti mobile. Compared to desktop variants, the mobile RTX 4080 approaches a performance level similar to the desktop RTX 3070 Ti. It's definitely more than enough power to run games on the native QHD+ display, even at near maximum settings and potentially with ray tracing enabled. RTX 40 series cards also support DLSS 3.0, which gives you a performance boost in exchange for a relatively minor hit in visual fidelity (much like "Performance" mode in console games).
The last time we've seen an RTX 4080 equipped Lenovo Legion laptop for under $2K was back during the Black Friday season last year. There's only one GPU that's measurably faster - the 4090 mobile - and a laptop equipped with that GPU will set you back hundreds of dollars more.
