PlayStation Portal Remote Player Refurb Is $141 for October Prime Day

If you have a PS5 but don’t like to be glued to your TV, this deal is for you. For Amazon’s October Prime Day 2024, Prime members can get select Warehouse items on sale for 20% off. That applies to this “Used: Like New” condition of the PlayStation Portal, which drops to $141.22 at checkout. That’s a big discount, making it an easier decision if you’ve been on the fence about picking one up.

PS Portal Is $141.22 at Checkout with Prime

The PlayStation Portal Remote Player is a handheld device made for streaming PS5 games from your home console right to your hands. That means someone else can be watching something on the TV your PS5 is hooked up to, and you can still play your games. You can take your PS5 games into the bathroom, or onto your back porch. Or anywhere else.

It also works over the internet (provided you have a fast enough connection), so you can stream your PS5 games from a different city or even a different country while traveling.

The PS Portal has a huge 8” LCD display that looks great while playing just about any PS5 game. It offers 60fps capability at 1080p resolution. The controller parts feel basically just like a DualSense PS5 controller, complete with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, just like the controller the PS5 comes with.

One of the main downsides discussed in IGN’s PS Portal review was that, at launch, it couldn’t sign onto Wi-Fi networks that required a browser to log in. Thanks to an update post-release, Sony has fixed that issue.

The listed price on this thing is $176.52, but Prime members get an extra 20% off at checkout, knocking it down to $141.22. Grab it before all the Used: Like New models they have in stock are gone. For more discounts on both hardware and software, check out the best PS5 deals for Prime Day.
