The Amazon Echo Buds Drops to $25 for Prime Day

Ahead of the upcoming Amazon October Prime Day Sale, the second generation Amazon Echo Buds true wireless earphones drop to $24.99, a savings of 50% off the retail price. You don't need to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of this deal. However, if you're not a Prime member, you'll need to get your order total to at least $35 to get free shipping. This is a bargain for a pair of true wireless earbuds that pairs well with any iPhone or Android smartphone, especially when you could easily pay upwards of $100+ from other brands.

50% Off the All-New Amazon Echo Buds

The Echo Buds are a capable pair of earbuds to get for only $25. It features 12mm drivers, dual microphones, up to five hours of battery life (twenty hours if you include the charging case), a universal USB Type-c charging port, and Bluetooth multipoint to simultaneously pair up to two different devices. That makes it a potentially better option than AirPods for Android users since AirPods do not natively support Bluetooth multipoint (they have a similar feature exclusively for iPhones called Automatic Switching, but Android users are left in the dark).

Given the low price point, it's not surprising that the Amazon Echo Buds doesn't have an active noise-canceling feature. It does, however, feature a semi-in-ear design that offers some level of passive noise isolation, while still being aware of your surroundings. Semi-in-ear earbuds are more comfortable than earbuds that completely seal off your ear as well.

Since this is an Amazon product, you can control all its features via the Alexa app on your mobile device. The built-in mic has a secondary function of picking up voice commands; it can cue music, play podcasts, listen to Audible, make calls, set reminders, and more, all with the sound of your voice. If you don't use Alexa, that's fine as well. The earbuds are compatible with both iOS and Android and support both Siri and Google Assistant.
