Apple Watch SE Hits A Record Low Price on Amazon for October Prime Day
Amazon has slashed the price of the Apple Watch SE to a new record low.
The Apple Watch is one of the most interesting accessories you can buy from Apple. While many doubted its ability to become a success at launch, we've seen over 10 generations of the device released over the years. As part of the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen), which is meant to be an entry-level model, is going for $80 off its usual price. Keep in mind that these deals are exclusive to Prime members, but you can sign up for a free trial if you do not currently have an Amazon Prime membership. Beyond Apple Watch, you can also save on Apple AirPods Pro and iPad Pro this Prime Day.
32% Off Apple Watch SE for Prime Day
The Apple Watch SE includes almost all of the major Apple Watch features at half the price. You can take a call, text, and listen to voicemails on the go with this Wi-Fi enabled device. Additionally, you can download music to the device and stream even when your iPhone isn't nearby.
One of the biggest focuses since the beginning of the Apple Watch has been its fitness features, and there are plenty available on the SE. You have a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, and more. Apple has also added Crash Detection, a feature that notifies specific contacts and authorities if you are in an accident, to this 2nd Gen SE model.
Really, one of the only major features the SE does not offer is an always-on display and a larger screen. You also cannot take an ECG or check your blood oxygen levels, as neither of those sensors are present in this model. If you aren't focused solely on the more nitty-gritty health features, though, this is far from a deal breaker.
Is the Apple Watch SE Worth Buying at This Price?
Overall, this is an excellent device, especially for this price. This is the lowest we've ever seen the 2nd Gen Apple Watch SE on Amazon, so don't hesitate to pick this one up before Prime Day ends. You likely won't be able to find a better deal on Black Friday, as Amazon will likely offer the same $80 discount. If you've been holding out on picking up a new Apple Watch, this is the best time of the year to do so.
With the release of the Apple Watch Series 10 earlier this year, you can still expect more deals to arrive on the Series 9 models later this year. So if you've been hoping to pick up something better than the SE, you may still want to wait for later in the year.
