Army helicopter involved in plane collision was doing training flight, military officials say

Military officials say the Army Black Hawk helicopter involved in a midair collision Wednesday in Washington, D.C., was based out of Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and was taking part in a training flight. Fort Belvoir is about 17 miles south of Reagan National Airport.
